Who We Are
Caves Beach Brewing Co. is an independent craft brewery based in Caves Beach, NSW — a small coastal community on the edge of Lake Macquarie and the Pacific Ocean, about 25km south of Newcastle.
We specialise in small-batch, hand-crafted beer. Everything we brew is made with care, real ingredients, and a genuine love of the craft. We don't cut corners, we don't scale beyond what the quality allows, and we don't make anything we wouldn't be happy drinking ourselves.
We are proudly local and completely independent.

What We Do
We brew small-batch craft beer and get it into the hands of people who appreciate quality — through local bars, bottle shops, RSLs, surf clubs, sporting venues, and direct to your door online.
Brewing — Small-batch craft beer, brewed on a 300-litre microbrewery system at our Caves Beach base. Every batch is hand-crafted from start to finish.
Wholesale Supply — We supply kegs and cans to venues across a 100km radius. If you run a bar, bottle shop, RSL, surf club, or restaurant and want to stock a genuinely local craft brand, we'd love to talk.
Online & Direct — Order online with local delivery, or find us at markets and events across the region.

Where We Are
We're based in Caves Beach, NSW 2281 — a coastal community known for its sandstone caves, surf break, mountain bike trails, and the kind of tight-knit community where people actually know each other's names.
We are aiming to distribute within a 100km radius covering : Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Hunter Valley, Central Coast, Port Stephens

Our Community
We're not just based in Caves Beach — we're part of it.
Community is the reason we started this, and it shapes everything we do. We are looking to sponsor local sporting clubs, partner with local businesses, support Surf Life Saving NSW, run beach and trail clean-up events, and pour at local markets and festivals across the region.
we're always looking to build new connections with the people and organisations that make this part of the coast worth living in.
We believe a great local brewery should make the community it belongs to a little bit better. That's not a marketing line — it's how we operate.

Where We're Headed
We're building this carefully and deliberately. Quality before scale, always.
In the short term — getting our beer onto local taps, into bottle shops, and into the hands of people who live within reach of the coast. In the longer term — deeper community partnerships, seasonal and limited releases, a growing presence across the region, and a Caves Beach Brewing Festival that brings the community together around something worth gathering for.
This is still early days. The batches are small, the brewing is hands-on, and we know most of our first customers personally. That's not a limitation — that's exactly how we want it to start.
